President Message

Welcome to the PNACOH website,

As a President of the Philippine Nurses of Central Ohio (PNACOh), and on behalf of the present Board Members, members, and past Presidents, of our organization we thank you for visiting our website.

The PNACOh is one of the 55 Chapters of the Philippine Nurses Association of America in the Northern Region of the United States. The Philippine Nurses of America (PNAA) was established on April 29, 1979, to deal with the problems encountered by the Filipino Nurses in the United States to unite voices through collaboration, respect, and equity so Filipino nurses can provide patient's safety and better patient's outcome.

On March 20,2010: The PNAO-CO was introduced in Columbus, Ohio, as a second sub-chapter of PNAA of Cleveland Ohio (PNAO), subsequently the name PNAO-CO was changed to the official name to Philippine Nurses Association of Central Ohio (PNACOH). The executive of PNACOH made a concerted effort to meet the requirements of the membership so the organization can be an independent chapter of PNAA.

On June 3, 2011: The PNACOh was recognized as a new chapter of the Philippine Nurses Association of American during the national convention at Embarcadero, San Francisco, California as a 42 nd chapter of PNAA.

Our PNACOh mission is to:

  • Unify Filipino-American Nurses in Central Ohio and its US territories
  • Participate actively in professional and cultural activities with professional organizations and agencies in the community and internationally.
